The tallest of highest Indian flag is hosted at 293 foot high pole in Ranchi, Jharkhand and this was hoisted by our Defence Minster of India Manohar Parrikar Hoists Country’s Largest, Tallest Tricolour In Pahari Mandir in Ranchi Jharkhand.
The flag is 66 ft in height, 99 ft in width and it is hoisted on a 293 ft tall pole.
On 2nd June 2016 on the Occasion of Telangana Formation day Chief Minister of Telangana Sri K ChandraShekar Rao KCR hoisted/unfurls India’s second highest tallest largest Indian Flag at a height of 291 Foot at Sanjeevaiah Park Hussain Sagar Hyderabad. The flag is 72-foot high and 108-foot wide.
KCR wanted a 303 foot high pole, which would have made it the tallest in country, but AAI Airports Authority of India has the denied permission. The flag has been made by the Flag Foundation of India in Mumbai while a spare flag is being readied in Khammam district.
The country’s third largest and tallest Tricolour was flying on a 250 ft high pole in Faridabad Uttar pradesh. Flag is 96 ft X 64 ft in dimension. It was hoisted last year.
