If you are a State Bank of India SBI customer then you must know the Cash Deposit Limit, Withdrawal Limit per day in Home Branches and Non Home Branches, if you exceed the limit then SBI will levy Cash handling charges, see below for mode details.
SBI Cash Deposit Limit
Below Cash Deposit Transactions is for all SBI Savings Bank account types including SURABHI Savings Bank account.
In a month only 3 cash deposit transactions can be done for free.
After 3 cash deposit transactions, SBI Levies Rs 50 + GST per Transaction
Maximum Limit for deposit of cash at SBI Non Home branch is Rs 2 lakh per day.
SBI Cash Withdrawal Limit
SBI has Cash Withdrawals Limit at Home and Non-Home Branch beyond this limit charges will be applied.
If the Average Monthly Balance (AMB) in SBI Savings Bank is Upto Rs 25,000 then you can do 2 Number of free cash withdrawals per month can be done at home branch.
If AMB is less than Rs 50,000 then 10 free cash withdrawals per month can be done at home branch.
If SBI AMB is Above Rs 50,000 up to Rs 1,00,000 then 15 free cash withdrawals per month can be done at home branch.
If Average Monthly Balance in SBI Savings Bank is more than Rs 1,00,000 then unlimited cash withdrawals can be made at sbi home branch.
Note: If you making cash withdrawals beyond above-mentioned limit then Rs 50 + GST tax will be levied.
Cash withdrawal limit at Non-Home Branches by the customer for self is Rs 50,000 for Savings Bank and Rs 1,00,000 for Current account.
AT PoS – Cash withdrawals for State Bank Debit cards is 1% of the transaction value subject to a maximum of ₹5/- per transaction.
