The Reserve Bank of India will issue the new Rs 200 cashnote from Tommorrow August 25, 2017. The new Rs 200 denomination has Motif of Sanchi Stupa on the reverse, depicting the country’s cultural heritage.
New Rs 200 Note
Colour of the New Rs 200 Note is Bright Yellow and its geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverse.
On the front of the cashnote it Ashoka Pillar emblem on the right, Mahatma Gandhi portrait and electrotype (200) watermarks,Number panel with numerals growing from small to big on the top left side and bottom right side.
On the reverse of the note it has Year of printing, Swachh Bharat logo with slogan, Motif of Sanchi Stupa, and Denominational numeral २०० in Devnagari
Lenght/Dimension of New Rs 200 Note will be 66 mm × 146 mm.
