For Airtel Prepaid Customers International Roaming IR is activated by default, if you are calling withour an International roaming pack then amount will be deducted from your Main balance as per Standard rates. Check this link.

You can subscribe to the Airtel IR Packs by visiting at Airtel.in/IR or in Airtel Thanks App.

Airtel Prepaid subscribers can book the roaming pack up to 30 days prior to the actual date of travel. Pack validity starts only when the you connect to international network of that country.

Activate International Roaming on Airtel Postpaid

By default Airtel International Roaming Service for Postpaid customers is disabled, you need to purchase the IR Pack to activate IR service it will be enabled automatically.

Postpaid customers present in India may call the customer service helpline 121 or +919910099100 (international toll-free number).

For company provided Airtel paid connections, you have to get in touch with your company/office staff to activate the roaming pack.

The IR pack validity will start only when you connect on to an international network of that country covered by the pack and makes any chargeable usage like Outgoing SMS/incoming or outgoing/Incoming voice call/data consumption.
